Captain White was born and raised in Venice and attended Venice High School. After graduating, Captain White served his country in the United States Army as a Human Intelligence Collector. He deployed to Afghanistan twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He served in the Army for over six years, achieving the rank of Sergeant.

Captain White began his law enforcement career at Venice Police Department in 2014. He has served in the capacity of Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Special Investigations and Traffic Enforcement Officer, Detective, Patrol Sergeant, Training Manager, and Special Operations Lieutenant. Captain White currently oversees the Patrol Division.

He earned a Master of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University in 2018.
