Police Officer Salary $70,000 - $97,075

Pay & Incentives for Officers with Prior Experience

We value the expertise you bring. Under our current agreement, new hires with prior full-time law enforcement experience may start at a higher pay step once FDLE certified:

• 3 years prior experience → Start at $75,276
• 4 years prior experience → Start at $78,061
• 5 years prior experience → Start at $80,949
• 6 or more years prior experience → Start at $83,944
• $2,500 sign-on bonus (in addition to the State of Florida recruitment bonus)
