Our Vision

The vision of the Venice Police Department is to provide excellent service to those we serve and protect. We achieve this by being an integral part of our community. We demonstrate our commitment by providing quality service, accountability and community involvement. We constantly evaluate and improve our services so our citizens can enjoy a safe and positive environment.

Our Mission

The ultimate mission of the Venice Police Department is to provide public safety and preserve order for our citizens, visitors, schools and businesses. We accomplish this while guarding, without prejudice, the liberties of all those we encounter. We must be both approachable and transparent as an agency to become part of the community we serve.

Our responsibilities are varied, and we are committed to deliver superior service by interacting with our community to identify and solve problems.
