Thank you for spending some time to visit our website. Venice Fire Rescue has a proud history of serving our community. That spirit of service continues as we move forward into the future. The firefighters of Venice Fire Rescue are here to serve you and we are committed to providing the highest levels of service possible while maintaining an ISO level of 2. We are honored to provide the citizens of Venice and the visitors to our city with emergency services and education. We recognize the trust you place in us and the responsibility we have in doing the right thing on every incident every day.

Our current responsibilities have expanded from the initial mission of fire suppression to include the efficient delivery of the many varied types of emergency services required today. We embrace the challenges and opportunities that are a part of a thriving community and strive to meet your needs within the financial capabilities of the City.

The fire department is continually searching for opportunities to improve our services, promote efficiency, and increase community and firefighter safety. We are accomplishing these goals at a time when it is imperative to capitalize on every expenditure and opportunity. We are confident that we can improve our services and are committed to community safety, firefighter safety, and financial stewardship.

As a servant to the Community for 20 years, I am proud to represent such a fine organization. I am impressed on a daily basis with the compassion and resourcefulness of the firefighters of our Department and their commitment to the residents, businesses and visitors of our City. As Venice Fire Rescue moves into our next chapter of service we will continually seek ways to re-think how we provide our service in an effort to be more efficient, more adaptable and more responsive to the needs of our community.

We are dedicated to preserving the past, protecting the present and leading the future.
