Keeping the public informed is one of the City of Venice's highest priorities. There are several ways in which the city endeavors to communicate with its citizens:

City PIOVenice City E-News is a digital newsletter published monthly. It is available on this website under "Residents," or may be emailed directly to anyone who provides an email address. To be included on the email group list, send the request to Public Information Officer Lorraine Anderson at landerson@venicegov.com.

The city publishes an annual calendar, which contains dates of meetings, special events, and gazebo concerts, as well as other information regarding city services. It is available at Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave. prior to Christmas each year,  while supplies last.

Email announcements regarding street closures, other traffic or construction concerns, police and fire incidents, and other matters of public interest are sent out each week. To be included on the email group list, send the request to landerson@venicegov.com.
