Starting Aug. 3, 2026, the Venice History Museum, located at 351 Nassau St. S., will be changing its schedule. Going forward from that week, the museum will be open Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. First and third Saturdays during October through April will remain unchanged; on those days the museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“The museum has historically operated on a Monday through Wednesday schedule,” said Historical Resources Manager Harry Klinkhamer. “But research data shows that many of our visitors are residents bringing out-of-town guests, and most visitors who come for an extended weekend tend to start the weekend early on a Thursday or a Friday rather than extend it to a Monday or Tuesday.”
The new schedule will also avoid closures during several annual holidays that fall on Mondays.
