Join the City of Venice as we celebrate a century of leadership at Centennial Park at 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 15 with a special rededication and legacy ceremony.
As part of the City of Venice Centennial, this special ceremony will honor Mayors and City Council members, past and present, who have helped shape our community over the last 100 years.
The program will feature remarks from Mayor Nick Pachota and City Manager James Clinch, recognize former and current elected officials in attendance, include a formal proclamation honoring the City's Centennial as part of the park's namesake for the Post Office's Centennial, and conclude with a special Centennial unveiling you won’t want to miss. Those in attendance will also enjoy a performance of the official Centennial Song, "Venice, Forever Home," by the Venice Chorale.
This event is open to the public, and all are welcome to be part of this meaningful moment in our City’s history.
