New 'Advertising in the 1920s' exhibit at VMA

Post Date:01/15/2020 4:11 PM

The Venice Museum & Archives’ new exhibit, “Selling Venice: Advertising in the 1920s,” opened Tuesday, Jan. 21. This small exhibit located at the historic Triangle Inn features enlarged advertisements pulled out of the Venice News, published from 1926-1928. Come enjoy seeing the huge marketing campaign to sell properties and goods in Venice during these initial “boom years” in the City’s history!

This exhibit will run through Jan. 13, 2021.

The Venice Museum & Archives is located in the Triangle Inn at 351 Nassau St. S., near the Venice Library and Venice Community Center. The VMA is open to the public Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., and the first and third Saturdays of each month, October-April, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The museum is always free; donations are gratefully accepted.
