Pinebrook Park Walk set for 4/4
The Friends of Pinebrook Park, a central Venice neighborhood association whose mission is to take care of and promote the park, in partnership with the City of Venice, will hold a walk the morning of Thursday, April 4 to celebrate the rezoning of the park and unveil new signage. Celebration Walk in the Park
When: Thursday, April 4, 2019. Brief recognition comments at 9 a.m. to kick off the walk.
Where: Pinebrook Park, 1251 Pinebrook Road, Venice (near Wellfield Park). Meet at Exercise Station 2. Volunteers will be stationed at the Pinebrook Rd. entrance to direct participants.
What: A walk for residents and visitors to witness firsthand nature, flora and fauna exhibited in Pinebrook Park will be done on groomed trails and will be approximately 1.5 miles.
Who: The Friends of Pinebrook Park and other representatives with expertise in the field of fitness, nature, plants and trees will be on hand to talk and lead groups through the trails.
Details: Wear comfortable shoes and clothing; parking on site and water available. Rain or shine.
