City launches Adopt-a-Park Program
The City of Venice Public Works Department is proud to introduce its new Adopt-a-Park Program. This program is for interested citizen groups, schools and businesses to assist the City in beautifying its parks by volunteering to pick up trash and litter, cleaning various park amenities and performing other minor maintenance tasks. Interested participants would need to commit their services at the selected park a minimum of four times a year, beginning after Jan. 1, 2019. The City shall provide a 12”x18” sign in the selected park to recognize the participating group or business. The City of Venice is very excited about this partnership opportunity with the groups and businesses in our community.
