In the early part of the 20th century, Mrs. Harry Mundy (Lota) was a wealthy benefactor to the community. Although she lived in the Venetia Park area, she donated this park in Edgewood, at Groveland Avenue at Country Club Way, for the children of working families.

Amenities include a basketball court, multipurpose field, softball field, handicap accessible playground, picnic table, benches, drinking fountains and bike racks in a neighborhood setting.
