Jetty benches

NOTE: Humphris Park and Jetty Jack's at the South Jetty are currently closed to the public in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus)

Humphris Park is the entrance to the South Jetty. It is named for Thomas H. Humphris, who was Mayor of Venice from 1972-73.

The park is located at the west end of Tarpon Center Drive and has picnic tables, benches, showers, restrooms and food concession -- Jetty Jack's Refreshment Deck -- in an area known for fishing, surfing, sunsets and Gulf views.

While the South Jetty is under the purview of the City of Venice, the North Jetty, which can be viewed across the inlet, is under the purview of Sarasota County.
