Dr. Fred Albee was a world-renowned orthopedic surgeon who came to Venice from New York. He was the first to hire John Nolen to plan a city, but shortly after sold his holdings to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, who fulfilled his dream of building a beautiful city on the Gulf of Mexico. The park is located between Nassau Street and St. Augustine Avenue.
