Venice has more than 30 parks ranging in size from tiny pocket parks to the beach along the Gulf of Mexico. Some of the more unique parks include Paw Park, where dogs may romp on the beach, and Venetian Waterway Park, where people may bike and hike on a 5-mile stretch along both sides the Intracoastal Waterway. Please enjoy our parks and beaches while maintaining social distancing guidelines.

Chuck Reiter was a Little League baseball coach who was instrumental in developing the Little League program in Venice. The park is the home of Venice Little League.

The park, located on the corner of East Field Street, includes lighted baseball fields, batting cages, food concession, restrooms and a playground.

Reservations for this complex are open to the public through Sarasota County, but the league does have priority. Please email Parks Online at parksonline@scgov.net and the team will be happy to assist you with your request and any questions you may have.
