City Hall will be closed Friday, July 3, for the observance of the Independence Day holiday. Garbage, yard waste and recyclables will not be collected on Saturday, July 4. City residents whose normal collection day is Saturday will have all their items picked up on Wednesday, July 8.

This park's gazebo is currently under refurbishment.

Centennial Park is located in the heart of downtown, between West Venice Avenue and West Tampa Avenue. It features Venice's signature ADA-accessible gazebo, 3-hour parking, vehicle charging stations, picnic tables, benches, restrooms, a memorial to veterans, Venice MainStreet information kiosk and Children's Interactive Fountain in an area often used for special events and concerts. The fountain is open from 9:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. and is kept to swimming pool standards by the Public Works Department. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
