Each resident is entitled to two free collections a year of yard waste or appliances. The city fiscal year is from Oct. 1 - Sept. 30. Call to schedule a pickup before putting items at the curb for collection. By law, all doors on a refrigerator must be removed. Yard waste piles for bulk collection should be in one big pile as high as possible and not placed under trees or wires. There is a limit of 20 yards of yard waste per collection.
A bulk collection must be scheduled by calling 486-2422. Items to be collected should be placed by the curb the night before the scheduled pick up day. Do not place items outside more than 24 hours before your scheduled collection day.
