Bulk garbage collection is provided for items too large or heavy for normal weekly collection. Bulk collection consists of furniture and miscellaneous household items.
This does not include construction or demolition materials or any hazardous waste.
A fee of $20 per cubic yard (approximately the size of a twin bed) will be added to the utility bill for this service. Customers who do not get a utility bill may prepay at Venice City Hall.
A bulk collection must be scheduled by calling 486-2422. Items to be collected should be placed by the curb the night before the scheduled pick up day. Do not place items curbside more than 24 hours before the scheduled collection day.
