Election
City Council candidates must be residents who have been registered to vote in the city for 12 consecutive months prior to qualifying week. Potential candidates can call City Clerk Lori Stelzer, MMC, by calling (941) 486-2626, ext. 23001. She will explain rules and procedures and answer questions.
The next city election takes place Nov. 6, 2012.
