Plan Review
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Plan review is conducted to ensure code compliance with the 2010 Florida Building Code, Building, Existing Building, Residential, Plumbing, Mechanical, Feul Gas and other codes associated with energy, electrical, and other construction and development codes as adopted in the city's municiple code. The review ensures your project meets code requirements and is safe before construction starts. Plans examiners review your submitted plans and associated documentation for compliance with structural, architectural and fire safety requirements.

All plans will be processed through the customer service counter Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The permit center is located at the Building Department at City Hall, 401 W. Venice Avenue.
