Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park is also a part of the former Venice Army Air Base. It was developed around 1949, with 186 lots for rent on which individuals could place their mobile home. The facility is located less than an mile from the beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Revenues from the rent go to the Airport Enterprise Fund where they serve to operate the airport.
The mobile home park has a recreation hall, a laundromat with outside clothes drying area and a shuffleboard courts. The following services are offered to each lot and billed separately:
Water and Sewer
Tenants of the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park must be 55 years or older. Age verification is required at the signing of the lot lease agreement. New tenants must apply for a lot lease agreement prior to signing the final documents for ownership of a mobile home. The rules and regulations are attached to the mobile home park prospectus as Exhibit A. Lot rent is $275.00.
Residents are members of the Venice Municipal Mobile Home Park Homeowners Association, which provides assistance with the maintenance of the park.
