The Administrative Services Department manages the city's insurance benefit plans and wellness programs for city employees and retirees. The department assists in the design of insurance plans, communicates benefits information to employees, assists employees and retirees with problems associated with the processing and payment of health insurance claims, oversees the FMLA program, coordinates open enrollment activities, communicates health and wellness information to employees and researches various programs and initiatives designed to reduce insurance costs for the city and employees.
