Venice Irrigation Schedule

All lawns must be watered before 8 a.m. and after 6 p.m. on the day designated for each particular address.

The once-a-week watering days are:

Thursdays - Addresses ending in odd numbers or letters A - L.   

Tuesdays - Addresses ending in even numbers or letters M - Z.

New lawns may be watered on any day during a 60-day establishment period, beginning the day of planting.  

Washing vehicles and hand watering landscape shrubs are allowed at any time. Hoses must have shutoff nozzles.

In compliance with the city’s permit, the city is allowed to water public lands at other times than those designated above in order to maintain water pressure or other resources for the citizens at the times they are allowed to irrigate.

Reuse water customers are not included in the irrigation restrictions, but are encouraged to conserve water. During particularly dry times, they are also asked to curb water usage.

To report a violation, call the Venice Police Department, 486-2444. You are not required to provide your name, but will need to know the address of the suspected violator.
