1) Case No. 2009-656, Venice Trust c/o Tammy Vellucci, Trustee, 127 Tampa Avenue East – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 90-204, no valid permit for all work done at this property. (Repeat Violator)

      a.   June 4 action – Fine imposed of $11,000, $250/day from April 20 – for 44 days

      b.   July 2 action – Fine imposed of $7,000, $250/day from June 5 – for 28 days

                  c.   NOTICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE APPEAL of June order – filed July 2, 2009

      b.   December 3 action – Fine imposed for 17 days, $850.00

 

4)   Case No. 2009-1014, Irene & Christopher A. Leach, 825 Gulf Coast Bv – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 34-81, Offensive Accumulations; prohibited – grass/vegetation in excess of 12 inches. (Mortgage Foreclosure)

      a.   October 1 action – Compliance by October 10 or $50/day fine

      b.   November 5 action – Fine imposed for 26 days, $1,300.00

      c.   December 3 action – Fine imposed for 27 days, $1,350.00

 

5)   Case No. 2009-1039, Thomas Klein, 1068 Lillian Street – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 34-81, Offensive Accumulations; prohibited – untended growth of weeds, grass & other vegetation.

      a.   October 1 action – Compliance by October 11 or $25/day fine – Property maintenance procedure expires December 7, 2009.

      b.   November 5 action – Continued to December meeting

      c.   December 3 action – Fine imposed for 53 days, $1,325.00

     

            6)   Case No. 2009-962, Estate and Unknown Heirs of Robert G. Sullivan (deceased), 1512 Strada D’Oro – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 34-81, offensive accumulations, overgrown weeds and unkempt lawn.

                  a.   August 6 action – come into compliance by August 20 or fine of $50/day

                  b.   October 1 action – Fine of $2,050 was imposed – Property maintenance procedure expires November 4, 2009.

                  c.   November 5 action – Fine imposed for 35 days, $1.750.00

                  d.   December 3 action – Continued to January meeting

 

7)   Case No. 2009-1462, Latinovic Vladimir, 628 Golf Drive – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 86-501, Parking and storage of unlicensed vehicles.

      a.   December 3 action – Come into compliance by December 20 or fine of $25/day

 

8)   Case No. 2009-1463, Latinovic Vladimir, 628 Golf Drive – Violation of City of Venice Code of Ordinances Section 86-501, Parking and storage of unlicensed vehicles.

      a.   December 3 action – Come into compliance by December 20 or fine of $25/day
