- Award Type: Immediate Recognition
- Selection Process: Recommendation, or observation of appropriate PRIDE
act by management, fellow employee, member of the community, etc.
- Form of Reward: Supervisor or Manager Issues token on-the-spot
- Five Tokens = $25 cash award
- Recognition: Employee Newsletter
- Criteria: Demonstration of PRIDE by going beyond expectations in an area
of a routine task as related to customer service, dedication and use of
initiative in assistance to others.

- Award Type: Recognition at department meeting
- Selection Process: Presented by Director, but may be based on immediate
supervisor recommendation
- Form of Reward: Director presents a certificate of appreciation and a
$50 cash award.
- Recognition: Highlight in Employee Newsletter and on Employee Corner of
city’s website
- Criteria: Demonstration of PRIDE by going above and beyond assigned tasks or responsibilities to
provide excellent service to others, or establish a new level of
excellence in duties through self initiative and exemplary behavior. Impact must be significant to a work
group, division, or department of the organization or community.

- Award Type: Invitation by City Manager at departmental meeting to
receive award at City Council meeting.
- Selection Process: PRIDE Committee as defined by criteria and previous
recipient of BUS Pass in same program year.
- Form of Reward: Certificate and cash award of $250 or 16 hours time off
with pay.
- Recognition: Newsletter, website, and media release to newspaper
- Criteria: Must be previous BUS Pass recipient during same program year.

- Award Type: Recognition at annual presentation scheduled for City
Council meeting.
- Selection Process: PRIDE Committee as defined by criteria. Nominations
consist of previous City Manager PRIDE Award recipients in same program
year.
- Form of Reward: Acrylic plaque and cash award of $1,000.
- Recognition: Newsletter, website, and media coverage
- Criteria: Must be previous City Manager’s PRIDE Award recipient during
same program year. Award winners
will have had significant PRIDE impact on the organization or community
reflecting the value and integrity of these awards.
